Log Leaders Hillary Malvern paid a visit to Gledhow and inserted DCC after winning the toss. The DCC openers started cautiously and steadily. The Opening bowlers were not extracting movement on a scorching day and slow bowling was introduced, the breakthrough was made and soon the 2nd wicket fell in the 12th over. This brought Raj Verma to the crease to join opener Suveer. They then batted cautiously on a slow pitch that was offering something to the slow bowlers, At the 30 over mark DCC were at 115/3 with Raj still at the crease. Wickets in hand ensured that DCC increased their RR and reached 183 with Raj Verma scoring 53. With contributions from Rajiv Ramsingh and openener Suveer. Malvern started their reply and as soon as the 4th over they were 10/2 with Ishan Kalia and Sheldon Madray claiming a pole each. Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals with the introduction of Raj and Akshay. Malvern were in trouble at 100/7 when the last 3 batsmen knocking it around saw them reach 167. Raj claimed his 5th of the last ball of his spell and Akshay then removed the last batsmen stumped to give victory to an elated DCC
